Our Road Trip and Road Side Assistance

We went on a outing Saturday and had a great time (I'll be posting those pics next Tuesday). However, the real fun and interesting part didn't start until we embarked on our way home. The car started to bounce and make noise that sounded like we were riding over metal planks. I thought to myself, "the roads in New Orleans can't be that bad, huh?". Then it hit me.

"Honey, I think we have a flat tire!"

Sure enough, a couple pulled up alongside of us on the interstate and I could read their lips, "You- have- a- flat- tire!"

So we pulled over to the median and hoped for the best. I hate being out there like that and especially having to get the kids out of the car to stand near the busy interstate. All kinds of unhappy thoughts rushed through my mind.

Then an awesome thing happened, The Motorists Assistance Patrol guy showed up. *Thank you, Jesus!* So while we were getting the tire fixed I calmed down long enough to take some pics. Enjoy...

Just to clarify, after Ryan read this post he noticed a rather glaring omission on my part. Being the Mr. Fix It he is, he was already working on getting the tire replaced when a 'certain van' drove up to help out. There you go honey. :)

Hi, Amy. We are having terrible trouble with our internet, and I lost some emails. One of them I lost was the one you sent me with the link to check out the test blog you are doing for me. If you could resend that to me, and let me know when I should send me my info so that you can finish the blog, and also so I can pay you etc. Please do it when you have time. I am not intending to put pressure on you. I just wanted to let you know that I lost that info, and find out what to do next. I know you have been busy with the magazine, and you have a family, so I am really not trying to rush you. okay? Just whenever it is convenient for you.
