Ryan and I have been trying hard to pay off debt and get ahead financially. We would like to have a child of our own but at the present time we don't have the means or the room. Ryan is working 3 jobs and I am working from home to try to get ahead yet it doesn't seem to be working. For instance...

First of all, GREAT post!
Second, so does that mean you are turning it all over to God without all the things that you'd like to get done first? (That's me dancing around the question of SO ARE YA GONNA HAVE A BABY?!) :-D
And thirdly, I love the cookies and crumbs you left all over SAmy's blog! You are uber template talented!
Hello, friend!
I sent an email last night and today. Just wanted to make sure you got them. It seems like my long ones are the ones that don't go through.
Could you send over just a quick "I got it." if you did?
Thanks so much, Amy!
Blessings, sister!
Amy, what a great devotion! I love how you allow the circumstances of life teach you biblical truths. Oh, how God speaks to us, teaching us, when we just LISTEN!
My "rut" is speaking ministry. I get tempted to make it happen in my own strength- to build it myself (like your shed) without waiting on God. He has promised this. He has given me the dream and the vision. He will bring the opportunities. I just need to be patient and wait on Him.
And, then, like your example with the baby.....what's holding me back? He has given me ideas that I haven't pursued. I make excuses. So, do I really trust Him. Hmmmmmmmmmmm
Thanks for your honesty and encouragement!
Love,
Tracy
What a wonderful post. I found you at CWO Cafe. Sometimes what makes our lives ultimately better such as giving our issues to God is so hard to do. I am glad you are trusting Him with this area of your life and sharing your thoughts with us.
Marsha my dear, although I am opening up to the idea of letting God handle everything, my dear husband still isn't ready. So... no baby yet. ;o)
Loved your devo today. We too are stuck in the rut of debt and wanting children. Sorry for the heartache of it but thank the Lord that there are other people out there that feel like we do. God bless you!
