My absolute most favorite show ever is Top Chef. Yes, I like it better than Idol and Extreme Makeover Home Edition, crazy I know! But I love to cook and I love to watch others cook... and get voted off for messing up Shrimp? Nimma had to go home and I was actually sorry to see that. She looked like a great girl. But, that is the nature of the game.
So who will walk in the footsteps of Chef Harold, Chef Ilan, and Chef Hung? I have a couple of favorites already: Dale, Richard, and Antonia. We'll see how far they go. I did predict Hung would win last season and he did. This time, I'm not so sure. It looks to be about as heated (no pun intended) a competition as American Idol.
I have also noticed on their website that their is an "at home version" of the quick fire challenge. This one involves making a burger... hmmm. I just might have to participate!
On to American Idol...
Would somebody please tell me why this guy doesn't have contract? First he pulls this off - Lionel Richie's "Hello"
Then he pulls of Eleanor Rigby!
David Cook ROCKS!! I mean, I am just a rock-n-roll kind of girl so I loved it! This guy has got some major talent! I honestly hope he doesn't win so he can go off and do his own thing like Daughtry. This guy has got it!
My girls Syesha and Ramiele didn't fare so well last week. Let's hope they do better on Tuesday. However, my used to be unfavorite (yes, I know that isnt' a word, honey ;o) Carly Smithson blew me away. She was fabulous. Then of course, I still think Michael Johns is amazing. We'll just have to see what happens.

Okay, seriously my husband and I are amazed by David Cook!! Michael Johns has been my favorite, and while I loved "Hello" I think David just kept getting over shadowed in my mind. Not any more. Michael had a rough week, although I'm sure he'll bounce back and David is now my favorite-period.
Carly was unreal this week. I don't even know if one note was wrong. Wow!
David Cook IS my favorite... I also like David A because he's such a cute kid but forgetting the lyrics was not a good thing this week. I also like Chikezie

I like them all, they are all talented and I love that they are letting them play their own instruments. But if I have to choose a favorite it would have to be Carly Smithson she has such an amazing voice. Can't wait until next week.
