An Accident Real Close To Home

I walked outside and there it was. A sunken Dodge pick-up surrounded by soldiers determined to rescue it's driver. It was a close call. But they were victorious.

Here is the driver being pulled to safety...

Others rush in to help...

This guy is thinking, "How are we going to get this thing outta here?"

Aerial views.

"C'mon, buddy!" We gotcha!"

And to think, from far away no one would know what was happening right here in our front yard. But we knew. I got to listen to the scenario played out several times and each time the ideas were bigger and better and definitely more effective. I do think I have a rescue hero in the making! What do you think?

I too thought this was something that actually happened and was concerned. So glad to know that you've got brave soldiers around you who are willing to take risks and help others in their time of need.
